JAKARTA – PT Koka Indonesia Tbk has just signed a contract worth IDR 81 billion to
work on the construction of an infrastructure project with PT Chengtok Lithium
Indonesia in the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) area, Central Sulawesi. In
the work contract, the construction of this work takes 5 months.
Director of Finance and Operations of PT Koka Indonesia Tbk, Michael Albert, said that
obtaining this new contract would strengthen the Company’s position as a direct
contractor for PT Chengtok Lithium Indonesia. Apart from that, it will have a positive
impact on increasing the Company’s income and finances. “As we know, Koka has
previously collaborated with PT Chengtok since 2021 to support the EV battery
manufacturing project.”
In addition, if the work progresses within the expected time, the Company will also
immediately continue cooperation with PT Chengtok for a similar project for which the
tender announcement has just been announced with a value of around IDR 50 billion.
Michael also added that PT Koka Indonesia Tbk itself already has its own market and is
experienced in handling projects from China in Indonesia. “Even though the Company is
based in China or China, for the absorption of workers we prioritize Indonesian origin.
“The company recruits workers from Indonesia not only at staff level, but also at
managerial level and director level.”
